Labor Rates

Estimate Fee:  $29.00

This fee is waived if the equipment is repaired.  Written estimates are provided for insurance purposes.

Standard Labor Rate:  $89.00/hr

This rate is applicable during normal business hours, and does not include parts or travel charges.

Warranty Work
VMCS performs warranty work for Epson and Okidata.  If there is no problem found, it is subject to the $29.00 checkout fee.  Standard trip charges apply if warranty work is done on-site.  A proof of purchase is required for all warranty work.

Non-Warranty Repairs
Non-warranty repairs are performed on Epson, Okidata, Star Micronics, Commodore, Amiga, and most MS-DOS based machines.  Repairs are billed at the standard labor rates plus the price of any parts and consumables required.

On-Site Service
On-site service is performed for businesses in the Northern Virginia area.  On-site repairs are billed at the standard labor rates plus a trip charge.  On-site calls will be accepted for business locations only (in-home service not available).  Standard Trip charges are:

Zone 1 - $25.00

Dale City, Lake Ridge, Potomac Mills, Woodbridge

Zone 2 - $50.00

Fairfax, Fredericksburg, Manassas, Springfield, Stafford

Zone 3 - $100.00

Fauquier, Washington DC

Contract Maintanance
Hardware:
On-site and depot contracts available.  Loaner equipment available.

Software:
Telephone support contracts available for Network systems, The General Store and Champion accounting.
